ckground: Hypotension after spinal anesthesia for cesarean section is a common clinical finding and causes major morbidity and mortality.

Aim of the study: To Find out the prevalence of hypotension in patient undergoing cesarean section under spinal anesthesia.

Methods: A prospective analytical cross-sectional study design was conducted at public hospitals in Sana’a- Yemen, A convenience sample of 60 patients, who under want cesarean section under spinal anesthesia, an interview questionnaire, and observation checklist was used to collect data from first of April to the end of August 2021.

Result: The most female patients age 50% between 18-28 years, had medical history 16.7%. The prevalence of intraoperative hypotension was 41.7% while postoperative hypotension was 28.3 % of patient underwent for cesarean section under spinal anesthesia.

Conclusion: The prevalence of hypotension in patient under cesarean section under spinal anesthesia was 41.7 %
