مقدمة: التهاب الزائدة الدودية الحاد هو أحد الأسباب الأكثر شيوعاً للجراحة الطارئة داخل البطن في جميع أنحاء العالم. هدفنا إلى تقييم العلامات والأعراض والتشخيص ومعالجة التهاب الزائدة الدودية الحاد ونتائج ما بعد الجراحة وتقييم عوامل الخطر المرتبطة بالمضاعفات الشديدة وطول مدة الإقامة.
المواد والأساليب: تم إجراء دراسة مقطعية مستقبلية قائمة على الوصف في أقسام الجراحة العامة في المستشفيات الحكومية بصنعاء خلال الفترة من ديسمبر 2022 إلى فبراير 2023. تم جمع البيانات عن طريق تعبئة الاستطلاع والمقابلة الشخصية، وتم تحليلها باستخدام Epi Info 7.5 وبرنامج الإكسيل.
النتائج: من بين 155 مريضاً، كان متوسط العمر (23.4 \pm 10 سنوات)، والجنس من الذكور (61.3%). كان متوسط مدة الأعراض 22 ساعة. التاريخ المرضي عادة عبارة عن ألم موضعي أو في البطن مرتبط بفقدان الشهية والغثيان والقيء والحمى. كانت النتائج الجسدية الأكثر شيوعاً هي ألم البطن الأيمن المرتبط بالارتداد والحراسة. خضع جميع المرضى للتصوير بالأشعة فوق الصوتية قبل الجراحة لتحديد التشخيص. تم إجراء عملية استئصال الزائدة الدودية المفتوحة في 98.1% من المرضى، ولم يتم إجراء عملية استئصال الزائدة الدودية بالمنظار على الإطلاق. كان متوسط مدة الإقامة في المستشفى 3 أيام، وكانت مضاعفات الجراحة بعد الجراحة 2%، ولم تكن هناك وفيات في دراستنا.
الخلاصة: إن أثر تقليل مدة إقامة كل شخص بأقل من ثلاثة أيام سيكون له تأثير كبير وسيوفر أسرة في المستشفى لحالات أخرى أكثر حرجاً.
